Your Unique Opportunity Is Now.
If you imagine a triangle, the lower half of the triangle in Architectural market terms, are the high-volume bread and butter projects, ranging through residential and small commercial extensions, planning applications, floor plans, change of use and so on. If you search your local authority's planning portal, you'll see the volume is massive. Some simply require drawing a client's existing vision, sone just capturing/drawing the existing property. Others will naturally require creativity and skill. The most common and critical aspects can be learnt quickly, allowing income to be earnt, whilst continuing to learn and develop further skills. This is especially true when backed by an experienced, collaborative and supportive network. Innovation is required too, and a collaborative network is ideal for this.
The pace of change in architectural related technology and general AI is increasing, but traditional architectural practices are often falling behind. Imagine how a new breed of focused, innovative and interconnected Architectural Designers could fare in this new world, all working to a standard and successful business model. It will be a breakthrough.
However, it requires:
- A strong interest in Architecture and related technology.
- Personal motivation and desire to learn these new skills fast, with the corresponding energy needed.
- Being a good team member and collaborator.
- A desire to make your local business a success and be part of a wider national business too.
We will not try and persuade you; you'll know if you're a potentially good fit.
Professionals at Work
I've had an increasingly powerful business vision, where the 'Specsavers' equivalent in the world of Architecture is created. There is no such national brand for Architecture, but it would be so powerful if there was. Clients would have a trusted brand, with standard and leading-edge services, with local hand-crafted representation. Collaboration would be strong and encouraged through technology, leading to better outcomes for clients and the Designers working within the business. This vision is created in Wales first, and then rolled-out wider as success builds. Architectural Design also feeds into other services, such as building and project management, where the Designer can continue to take a valuable role. It's a powerful vision for all concerned!
I have developed my Architectural Design skills over decades, having been involved in all aspects of property, particularly Land and Property Development. I have always liked to embrace the latest technology trends, so use 3D scans, 3D models and Virtual Reality. Increasingly, I am using AI to great effect.
My professional network across Wales extends to all interconnected disciplines, so can source all requirements.
Before I retire from this business sector, I want to teach and inspire a new breed of Architectural Designers who can learn whilst earning from client work, backed my my skills and reputation and that of my professional network. If delivered well, this will create both local businesses and a national business for all concerned - an exciting prospect!
